beauty essentials

Today I wanted to share some of my personal beauty essentials. So without further ado:

1. Kiehl’s – Ultra Facial Moisturizer (for all skin types)
I heard and read a lot about Khiel’s, so I decided to give this one a try. It’s a good product, although the texture is just a little bit too heavy for my liking.
2. Manhattan – BB Cream (Beauty Balm)
I like to have just a little bit of color for everyday, so I normally go for a tinted cream.
3. Yves Saint Laurent – Touche √Čclat
I just love this one! Read my whole review here.
4. Catrice – Calligraph (Ultra Slim Eyeliner Pen Waterproof)
For my everyday makeup I like a really thin line, so this eyeliner is just perfect, also it stays on and doesn’t smudge.
5. Catrice – Better Than False Lashes (Volume Mascara Waterproof)
One of those mascaras, that intensifies your lashes, but still lets them look kind of natural. ūüėÄ
6. Labello – Lip Butter Original
My lips tend to get really dry, so this one is a must!
7. Tangle Teezer – Compact Brush
Best brush I had so far. Read my whole review here.

Manhattan – Eyemazing Effect Eyeshadow

Some days ago I found a limited edition of the Eyemazing Effect Eyeshadow by Manhattan.

I got it in the color “003 traffic jam”, which is perfect for a romantic, but dramatic look.

The texture is highly pigmented and slightly creamy, which gives you an intense color.

I also got the normal version in “rosy wood 95C” and¬†“got the blues 71W”. Sadly they are not as highly pigmented as the special edition, but I already bought them some time ago, so I think by now the texture has changed to a creamier one, just like the limited edition.¬†Either way you can always use a wet brush to intensify the color.

I especially love the rosy wood pallet for my everyday look!

Most times I finish off the look with a very thin eyeliner line¬†and some mascara. Also¬†I would always recommend to use an eye primer before applying your eyeshadow. I’m using the Eyeshadow Base by Manhattan at the moment.

Have you tested the Eyemazing Effect Eyeshadow?

Nail polish #2

As it is getting warmer and warmer I thought I could start wearing a more colorful nail polish, so I opted for a green one from Manhattan. Actually I never wear green, but I think nail polishes are a cheap and easy way to change your usual style.

Up to now I only wore it on my toenails, because the colors is really conspicuous, but as the temperature mounts I’m getting braver with colors.

Do you like the color?
