Currently watching: Suits

I just finished watching the third season of Suits and I loved it!

The series about highly intelligent Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams), who dropped out of college and works now at a law firm without ever having studied law, really got me. The story concentrates on the associate Mike and his boss Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) closing cases, but at the same time not revealing Mike’s secret.

In my opinion the plot is always really exciting and if I start watching once, it takes me some episodes to stop again! šŸ˜‰

The way the competition between the different firms and lawyers, sometimes even the ones between people working for the same firm, is portrayed really pleases me. There are not just good and bad people, but all of them are ranging in different grey zones.

Another point I like is Harvey’s tragic love life, as he never stays together with any women longer than a few episodes. I guess I’m just a typical girl, who needs a little love in every movie.

On of my favorite characters on the show is Donna (Sarah Rafferty), Harvey’s secretary, who always has a clever answer and knows about everything going on. I just love here dresses!

Part of my fascination for this series is probably, because I’m thinking about studying law myself. Although I know, that the life of a lawyer is probably portrayed much chicer and cooler than it is in real life.

By the way, I usually watch movies and series on netflix. Especially if you watch a lot, but hate ads, it’s the perfect alternative to the normal TV program.

Suits is definitely worth watching!

If you feel like me, just make some yourself. It’s easy!

Ingredients: (serves 2)

  • 4 tomatoes
  • 1 small onions
  • garlic (optional)
  • 6 TS olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 4 slices white bread
  • Parmesan
  • basil

  1. Cut the tomatoes and onions into small pieces. Leave the tomatoes to drain, too much jap will make the bread too soft. If you like garlic, cut it into very small pieces.
  2. Mix them with the olive oil and season it with salt and pepper.
  3. Roast the bread in the oven for 10 minutes. (180Ā°)
  4. Grate the Parmesan. (Fresh one tastes so much better!)
  5. PlaceĀ the tomatoes on the the bread slices and decorate it with the Parmesan and basil.
  6. It’s best served with the bread still warm.

Will you try to make some yourself?

the perfect nail polish color for fall

As it is getting colder here in Germany, I’m getting really excited for fall and all the changes in fashion and beauty that come with it. Just think of all those warm and cozy sweaters! The coming months are the perfect time for wearing dark and rich colors.

Matching to this time of the year I bought this nail polish by catrice in the color “38 Vino Tinto”.

I think it is just perfect for those grey, rainy days or for catching theĀ last warm sun rays!

one day in Palma de Mallorca

This summer I went to Mallorca for a relaxing holiday. Even I spend most of the time at the pool, we didĀ a one day trip to Palma de Mallorca.

The first thing we saw, coming out of the parking house, was the cathedral “La Seu“. It’s the most popular attraction in Palma.

Exterior and interior are bothĀ worth seeing. Especially the big rose window from the inside which the light falling threw! In diameter it is about 11 meters.

Sadly the light in the cathedral was very dark and I don’t have the right equipment to get great photos, but here’s at least an impression of the interior.

Even the courtyard was really beautiful!

After visiting the whole cathedral we needed lunch and I opted for sandwiches.

At the square we ate was also a very old olive tree. Nature’s really fascinating! And next to it was the city hall of Palma de Mallorca, a beautiful, old building.

After the break we wandered through the many little alleys and treated us to some very delicious ice cream. Even there are really many tourists in the city, it was really charming.

Of course there would have been even more attractions to visit, but it was a perfect day!

Have you ever been to Palma de Mallorca?

review : Kayla Itsines – bikini body guide workouts-free week of workouts

I heard and read a great deal about Kayla Itsines‘ bikini body guides, the results you can see on instagram and co. are quite convincing. Sadly the guides cost quite some money (about 70$). However I foundĀ there’s a possibility of testing seven free days of the bikini body guide here!

DSC07654 (2)

The week consists of three workouts: leg, arm and ab. Each one of them is divided into two circuits you go through twice. TheĀ warm up and cool down/stretching you have to do by yourself.

Especially the arm workout was really hard for me. To be honest I didn’t get through the Push Ups without coming down to my knees and I swapped the In & Out Push Ups for plank jacks.

The workouts really challenged me and they’re definitely gonna make you fit. I had sore muscles after every workout! Also the workouts only took about half an hour, which is great if you have a tight schedule.

There are also some other free exercises on her blog, which you find on the website.

The free week of workouts is definitely worth testing! I can really see why so many girls are bikini body guide fans and I’d like to go on, but I really have to say that the price is holding me back.

Manhattan – Eyemazing Effect Eyeshadow

Some days ago I found a limited edition of the Eyemazing Effect Eyeshadow by Manhattan.

I got it in the color “003 traffic jam”, which is perfect for a romantic, but dramatic look.

The texture is highly pigmented and slightly creamy, which gives you an intense color.

I also got the normal version in “rosy wood 95C” andĀ “got the blues 71W”. Sadly they are not as highly pigmented as the special edition, but I already bought them some time ago, so I think by now the texture has changed to a creamier one, just like the limited edition.Ā Either way you can always use a wet brush to intensify the color.

I especially love the rosy wood pallet for my everyday look!

Most times I finish off the look with a very thin eyeliner lineĀ and some mascara. AlsoĀ I would always recommend to use an eye primer before applying your eyeshadow. I’m using the Eyeshadow Base by Manhattan at the moment.
