Last week I got the chance, to spend a day in Regensburg with my family.
Regensburg is a Bavarian town, located north of Munich and perfect for a day trip. It’s charming old town is part of the UNESCO world heritage and it is divided by the river Danube. It is also a popular city for students, due to it’s many pubs.
Tourist attractions next to the old town are the St. Peter cathedral and the “Steinerne Brücke” (“stone bridge”), which is the oldest maintained bridge in Germany.
We had luck and it was a sunny and beautiful day. Often you have a lot of fog in the city, because of it’s location next to the Danube. So we mostly just strolled along and enjoyed the sun, but we also went inside St. Peter cathedral, did some shopping and of course had a coffee break in a super sweet interior shop/café.
